Stella Shops began in August 2008 by me (Carla Antonelli) and Mizzie Logan as a guide to finding the best boutiques and local apparel and accessories designers in Nashville. Nearly eight years later, I'm still talking about new boutiques and designers. Nashville is full to the brim with uber-talented makers and cool new boutiques continue to open all over the city. At its core, Stella Shops is all about shopping and now you can shop from the site.

When I’m not shopping, blogging about shopping or Instagramming photos of my pugs, you’ll find me crafting sponsorships for events and special content at TN Media, home of the The Tennessean, Nashville Lifestyles and 12th & Broad. I’m also a 12th & Broad style contributor every other Tuesday. #BroadStyle

In case you’re wondering where the name Stella comes from, my saucy pug, Stella, sauntered across the room one night in her pink studded collar. Mizzie and I were brainstorming names and the minute she did that, Stella Shops was born. Sadly, I lost Stella to cancer on March 24, 2014. You can read my tribute to her here. She was one fashionable pug with a whole lot of attitude.
