Mizzie and I had no idea what to expect when we entered the Pastiche space on Bandywood for Style Blueprint's Second Annual Women's High-End Consignment Sale. Last night's event was an early bird shopping night with proceeds benefiting Renewal House. In a word...WOW. This sale is pretty incredible. Jimmy Choo, Manola Blahnik, Diane von Furstenburg, Chanel, Burberry, Gucci...they are all waiting patiently to go home with you. Racks of apparel line the walls nicely organized by size and range from denim to formal wear. The shoes...oh the shoes. Jimmy Choos and Pradas that have NEVER BEEN WORN are still nestled in their boxes for $200-300. And there are plenty of handbags and jewelry here too. Honestly, those sample sale sites have nothing on this sale. The prices are just that incredible. Mizzie and I both did pretty well. We were nearly out the door when Liza from Style Blueprint brought two Missoni sweaters over to us. It was love at first beautifully knit sight and we each left with one. The good news is this sale is open to the public today from 9am-6pm! Make sure you hit the ATM machine or bring your check book with you as this sale is cash only. There is a suggested donation of $5 for Renewal House. Whatever you need to do today to get to this sale, even if it's swim there (ugh! this rain), DO IT! And if anyone says anything to you, tell them the Prada made you do it.
Happy shopping and thanks again to Liza and Elizabeth for tonight's invite!
Here's a sample of what we saw...
