I'm always on the search for the perfect cross body bag and I continue to come across bucket bags. I had several Coach bucket bags in the early 90's that I still use today. I love the versatility of a bucket bag. It has a simplistic shape that is very functional. This is not a bag you want to pack full of things. They tend not to have inside pockets so items can get lost quickly. I end up having a few smaller cosmetic size bags in my bucket bag to make it easier to find things like lip balm, keys and my phone. I prefer a smaller size bucket bag, since I like the cross body option. I find the smaller size to be more versatile to style too. I can dress it up or down, and it's just more functional for me. If I'm traveling to a music festival, my bucket bag can easily go from the festival during the day to dinner or the after-party later that night. I found this Shaffer LA Greta bucket bag on the Zoe Report and I'm obsessed with its shape and the rich brown leather. I've found a few variations of it and a few similar styles. See how I style the Greta bucket bag on Monday's How To Wear It.
