The second annual nD Festival benefiting the Belcourt Theatre starts it's festivities on September 28. nD is a celebration of independent fashion, film and music and it's one of our favorite events of the year! Kick off the week Wednesday with the Opening Party hosted by Elan Hair & Skin. Nashville Ballet dancers will model looks from our June Spotlight Store, Hemline! You'll want to head East on Thursday for the East Nashville Boutique Crawl. Some of our favorite boutiques and restaurants will be donating percentages of their sales from the evening to the Belcourt. Saturday, I can't wait to see the one time screening of L'Amour Fou about legendary designer Yves St. Laurent. And the week ends with a fantastic fashion show featuring nD Emerging Designer Contest Winner and Stella fave, Jamie and the Jones. We'll also get to see looks from Steven Alan and Bodkin. One of the highlights of last year's show were the films and music that accompanied each collection. This year is no different. Local filmmakers Kristin Barlowe, James Clauer and David McClister, will screen their custom-made film shorts that incorporate each designer’s clothing. Musical accompaniment will be provided by H. Audrey's Holly Williams as well as Nikki Lane and Gabe Kelly. It's definitely going to be a fashionable week of events! Individual event tickets are available for the Opening Party, Saturday brunch and Sunday Fashion Show Finale or buy a Patron Pass that gives you access to all events and the special Patrons' Party on Friday evening. For more ticket information, please visit the Belcourt.
