Gift Guide: Gifts for Your Pooch

Our pets like presents too and this season there is no shortage of toys, treats, apparel and accessories for our dogs and cats. If you live in Nashville, we're lucky to have so many shops who specialize in helping us spoil our pooches. Winston Dog, Baxter & Bailey and Come Sit Stay have the best selection of sweaters, coats and other pup apparel. They have great treats and toys too. Wags & Whiskers has a nice selection of toys and a terrific selection of treats and all natural food. The Dog Spot is another super spot to find great treats and toys. Even White's Mercantile has some nice treats, leads and collars. For specialty baked dog cookies and "pupcakes" check out See Spot Eat in Berry Hill and Three Dog Bakery in Franklin. If you need to shop online, shop the collage below. I had no idea Free People had so many dog sweaters and toys, but they have some cute holiday items. The pugs may need that Mr. Moose toy. How To Wear It: Crop Pants - Summer into Fall

Transitioning from summer into fall is my favorite time of year. I love to take a summer essential, like a crop pant or a maxi dress, and throw on a jacket and a pair of booties. Just like that, I've got a whole new way to wear those easy summer pieces and stay warm as Fall's first chill hits the air. I love a good printed pant and this geo-prism crop pant from Anthropologie is the perfect pair to transition from summer to fall. Here's how I would style it now, with a flowy tee from Free People and a pair of sandals. By September, I'll want to wear a blouse, leather vest (this one is faux!) or jacket and a killer pair of booties.
