Shop Like You Give a Damn: Marcia's Luvocracy Marketplace

Stella Shops Founder and Editor-In-Chief, Carla, and I are professional shoppers. No kidding. It’s great for our wardrobe, but can be quite painful for our bank balances. Ah, vices can be so fun, right?

As this site continues to grow (thanks to all of you readers), we realize that adding interactive and easy to maneuver shopping components were the next natural step. (Notice the Shop tab in the menu above?) Love that crazy gorgeous vegan leather Karl Lagerfeld dress I posted a couple of weeks ago? (I mean, how could you not?)

Check out my Shop Like You Give A Damn vegan marketplaces on fabulous new Click here for a member invitation.

In my opinion, Luvocracy is a fun and interesting way to buy recommended pins, posts, tweets and shares. Members find the best things to buy, meet people through the products they recommend, and give and receive gifts with every purchase. Pin with a purpose people!

Object of Affection - Sporty Style

Pole vaults. Jump shots. Spins. Spikes. Dives. Flips. And fashion. The Summer Olympics have been billed as the most fashionable ever. Giorgio Armani, Prada, Stella McCartney, Hermes, and Ralph Lauren all have looks debuting in London during the games. And not to be undone, Chanel’s Karl Lagerfeld has a line of t-shirts (“Team Karl”) being sold in London’s Selfridges’ department store. Opening Ceremony has a pop-up store in Covent Garden.

And as if all this wasn’t enough, we can look forward to a Spice Girls reunion at the closing ceremonies on August 12 — with Victoria Beckham herself. Sporty style indeed.

About Cindy Wall

Cindy’s a communications and marketing pro, a writer, a grammar snob, and a rapacious reader. In her own words, she knows “a little about a lot”—i.e., 19th century literature, Karl Lagerfeld’s latest adventures, professional bike racing, and when to use the Oxford comma. She’s a fan of indie film and music, and bullish on local eating and shopping. And she’s recently re-reved her blog, Paris State of Mind, where she writes about all things French.
