It's crunch time Stella Shoppers. We're closing in on those final days of shopping. Are you feeling the pressure? Between Marcia's rockin' gift guides (Foodie, Trendsetter and Gents) all of the fabulous holiday markets happening this weekend, and the Stella Shops Boutique, you should be able to finish that shopping with relative ease. While we're talking about all our local shopping awesomeness, take a minute to take the Yelp Shops Local Pledge! Did you know for every $100 you spend at an independent retailer, $45 stays local? Think before you buy. Those dollars add up and they help our community and our economy. Our network of local retailers is what makes Nashville so unique, so let's keep it that way. Our friends at Yelp (namely, our Sustainable Style Editor, Marcia) are hosting several Shop Local events between now and Christmas. The first one is this Sunday at Gaslamp and Gaslamp Too. Check in on your Yelp mobile app with #YelpShopsLocal to earn a $10 gift card with every $100 purchase. A few of our favorite retailers will be offering specials at their booths on Sunday and treats will be served while you shop.
Nest Interiors Booth #T271 - 15-20% off entire booth
Anita Schmadtke Designs #T285 - 15-20% off entire booth
Dirt by Jason Parker Counce Designs #T309 - 15-20% off entire booth
Retropolitan #T714 - 15-20% off entire booth
If you've ever wanted to be a part of a Cash Mob, Sunday is your big chance! Marcia and her merry band of Yelpers (that's you!) will meet outside Zanie’s Comedy Club (2025 8th Avenue South) at 12pm to surprise one local, and deserving business with a “Cash” mob event. You'll head to the small business in that neighborhood spend a little cash and spread some holiday cheer! And don't worry, you don't need to spend much. Read all the details here!
Other Yelp Shops Local events will be held on Dec. 19 in The Gulch and Dec. 20 in East Nashville. Plus there are tons of pop-up specials at some of our favorite shops from East Nashville to Franklin, so check out the Yelp Shops Local Page for all the details!!
And in case that's not enough, Yelp's got you covered after the holidays with their Holiday Hangover Pass. Yelp Nashville has teamed up with The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee to offer a discounted shopping pass from January 1st – 31st. A $10 donation to The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee will unlock discount opportunities at a large list of participating businesses from Franklin to East Nashville as a finale to the Yelp Shops Local initiative.

Make sure you place those orders by Dec. 17 to guarantee arrival before Christmas and if you're here in Nashville, you can pick your order up at the whats-in-store Design Studio through Dec. 21. I've been smitten with whats-in-store this season. How about these necklaces and earrings?
There are tons of other fabulously affordable options at whats-in-store.com that are perfect for accessorizing those holiday party outfits or for finishing up your holiday shopping.
Beamhaus - This new design collective, based here in Nashville, has released a collection of luxury leather cases for iPhone, iPad and MacBook Air that get better looking the more you carry them. I am lusting over these pieces and that iPad case needs to be mine. Those MacBook Air cases would make amazing clutches. With nothing priced over $150, this limited-edition collection makes the perfect gift.
Sold Out! Just kidding...this is the one I've got my eye on. Beamhaus iPad Portfolio ($100)
Beamhaus MacBook Air 11" Portfolio or a chic clutch...you decide. ($150)
Local Honey - It's the seven days of Christmas at Local Honey now through Dec. 16.

Tweed - Edgehill Village events are always the best. Thursday evening from 5-8, head to Edgehill for a Roasty Toasty Evening hosted by Tweed from 5-8pm. There will be plenty of snacks and design goodies from our friends at Nest Interiors and Anita Schmadtke Designs.
Brooklyn South - This brand new vintage shop is located at 6264 Nolensville Pike. I'm anxious to check this shop out, so this may be the weekend for me. Their bio says they are "a family owned vintage boutique filled with an eclectic array of hand selected and one of a kind items including refurbished, vintage and mid-century furniture, as well as home goods and custom jewelry." Sounds like another great addition to Nashville's vintage community.
House of Stella - House of Stella is packed to the brim with fabulous jewelry, delicious smelling candles, tons of fun apparel and those Jeffrey Campbell shoes. House of Stella can definitely be your one stop shop.
Jondie - One of our favorite stops in downtown Franklin. You'll find plenty of affordable and on trend accessories, apparel and shoes. I always manage to walk out with a new bottle of Nyx nail polish.
Johnnie Q - For badass accessories, Johnnie Q is your place. Brooklyn stocks some seriously covetable pieces here.
Billy Reid - Happy holidays from Billy Reid. Take 40% off select items.
The Cosmetic Market - The next best thing to a Bliss Spa is the Bliss Wax Bar in The Cosmetic Market. Take advantage of their free brow wax offer now through Dec. 31. The Cotton Mill - There are just a few weeks left to shop The Cotton Mill. Everything is now marked down 60-80% off.
Levy's - Levy's 12 Days of Christmas starts Thursday. Visit them Saturday for Ties & Pies.
Monkee's - Another 12 Days of Christmas promotion starts Thursday. Check your email every day for another deal from Monkee's.

Fabu - Another of my favorite gift spots. I can always find the perfect present at Fabu. Shop and Sip Thursdays every Thursday through December 20.
UAL - There's a new markdown every day at UAL. Thursday's deal is 50% off select merchandise. I hit the jackpot here on Sunday. Men's cashmere sweater vests for $30, cashmere sweaters for $50 and men's merino wool sweaters for $19 are just a few of the amazing deals for men. I also managed to score a pair of gorgeous Stella McCartney pants and a pair of Marni pants for $45 each! Should we talk about the shoes? I had three pairs at the register in 15 minutes and none of the were over $60. Shoes and women's pants were 50% off on Sunday so that's why I scored so well. Check UAL's Facebook page daily to get the details on each day special.
How is that for a sale and event gift guide? Don't be overwhelmed. Just get out there and SHOP LOCAL!
