Roo Like You Give a Damn: Bonnaroo Festival Style

My apologies to all of you Stella Shoppers for not posting my regularly scheduled Shop Like You Give A Damn post on Sunday. Yours truly was having the time of her life with over 80,000 other adventurous souls in Manchester, Tennessee on 700 acres that housed 10 stages of music and 150 stellar performances. Good excuse, right?

Who would have thunk it that I (yes me) would have the survival skills to make it out, practically unscathed, from four days of camping at Bonnaroo?

Even I am shocked…

Words can’t even begin to express the amount of sheer fun. The memories of all the mischief and shenanigans will certainly last a lifetime!

Stellar shows ranged from The Temper Trap, Santigold, Chidish Gambino, The Avett Brothers, Skrillex, Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings, Fun, Young The Giant, Alice Cooper, The Roots and The Beach Boys, to headliners like Radiohead and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. And yes, I saw many more.

The festival fashion didn’t disappoint either. Trust me when I say that you haven’t experienced real “people-watching” until you come out and play at Bonnaroo. Here are some of the looks that I personally felt drawn to. Let me know what your favorites are!

These Bonnaroo belles definitely showcased splendid style:

The fellas didn’t disappoint in the swagger department either:

The outlandish contributed to the fun factor:

Music and Fashion definitely go hand and hand.

Check out Nashville’s own Moon Taxi who performed at the festival and designer Poni Silver of apparel collection Black by Maria Silver. She also happens to be the drummer for The Ettes!

If you attended the ‘Roo, comment below and let me know what your favorite show or experience was (Silent Disco, anyone?) and what stylish gear you couldn’t leave home without. I took the hint from my gal Heather Byrd and packed my wellies which came in handy on soaky Sunday! You can check out more footage and an archive of Byrd’s Eye View here.

See you next Sustainable Sunday.
